Bali with Kidz recommended family friendly restaurants
Bali is rapidly growing and more and more child friendly restaurants are popping up all over the island. From playgrounds, swimming pools, movies and arts and crafts you are sure to find a suitable restaurant where you can sit back and relax whilst your children are kept entertained.
We have provided a list of some of our favorite family restaurants.
Located in Canggu, La Casita offers healthy tasty Peruvian foods that are sure to leave a long lasting impression.
Bright and colorful dishes, lovely staff and a menu to please everyone, La Casita is the perfect place to head with the family,
La Casita would also have to be one of the most child friendly restaurants on the island complete with an outdoor playground, mini market and many free activities including arts and crafts, dance and cooking classes.

The Joglo offers a little bit of everything and really has a family friendly vibe.
Café, playground, markets, Friday movies and weekend activities – this place has it all!
Daily activitiesare offered each morning and after school for children aged from 1- 10 years, from cooking to book reading classes to crafty workshops; there is plenty of fun to be had in the kids’ corner or playground
Friday nights they also hold a kids movie club, let your children enjoy and outdoor cinema experience from the comfort of a beanbag whilst you enjoy a Mediterranean inspired dish or traditional Indonesian cuisine meal.
Coming soon – The Joglo has partnered up with Cheeky Monkeys and will soon be opening a Day Care facility. You’ll be able to drop your kids at their day care centre for a couple of hours or for the whole day, and let them play with the rest of the kids and engage in kids activities.

Prego Sunday Brunch atThe Westin Resort Nusa Dua
Prego Italian restaurant at The Westin Resort, Nusa Dua, offer a modern and fun dining experience with a focus on creating an enjoyable atmosphere for families and kids.
This lively eatery is the perfect place for the entire family to savour authentic Italian fare. Feast on generous portions of classic pasta dishes, along with regional favourites and a variety of pizzas.
Each Sunday between 11.30 – 3pm is the FunDay Family Brunch, sit down to the all you can eat buffet and enjoy a free glass of Prosecco on arrival.
With its upbeat feel and entertainment this is sure to be a favorite for the kids. The Sunday brunch activities include and indoor / outdoor kid’s corner, monthly themed activities, pizza making, entertaining magician and a choreographed dance routine from the staff.
After you have over indulged head out to the pool, where you have free access for the afternoon and the children’s activities continue.

Alam De Ubud
Located in Ubud overlooking rice terraces Alam De Ubud offers a calm and relaxing environment for hanging out in a comfortable bean bag.
Children can run around on the lawn, play on the swings and splash in the pool.

Where every day is a fun day!
The largest outdoor food court in Canggu which offers a mixed array of Western and Indonesian foods.
Chill in the open air environment whilst the kids roam free on the well-manicured lawns and play in the playground.

If you are in Bedugul be sure to visit WarungRekreasi which offers stunning lake views and mountain scenery
After you have eaten a delicious Indonesian / western meal take a stroll through the complex where you will find a children’s playground with swings, seesaw and merry go round.
For the adults enjoy the orchid garden, coffee plantation and bamboo forest.
For the cooler evenings snuggle up by the fire pit and enjoy a quiet drink.
This place really is a hidden treasure and well worth the visit if in Bedugul.
Artotel Beach Club
This is a fun new beach club located in Sanur which is a perfect place to venture to in Bali with kidz. Located on the beach front, you get to choose either the beach or the swimming pool to cool off.
The restaurant offers a variety of food including vegetarian, gluten free and vegan meals.
Enjoy the live music of an evening, swimming pool and an open air playground.
Day beds can be booked however a minimum spend applies.
The Pirate’s Bay
Ahoy Matey…… The Pirates Bay is located in Nusa Dua and is a pirate themed open air restaurant. Overlooking the sea you will find an abandoned ship, tree houses, flying fox and rope swings.
Menu consists of a mix of Asian, American, European & Local cuisine.
A perfect place to spend an afternoon or even celebrate a child’s birthday.
